How it Works

Fluorometholone is known as a synthetic corticosteroid or glucocorticoid. Fluorometholone binds to the receptors and controls the production of certain chemicals that mediate inflammation in the body, thus inhibiting the inflammatory reactions such as swelling, deposition and capillary dilatation.
