Ritonavir is an anti-HIV drug that is a protease inhibitor.Ritonavir works by disrupting the HIV protease enzyme, which then causes it to produce ineffective HIV-viral particles that are unable to further infect the body. Retonavir is usually used along with other medications to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection.

How it Works
Darunavir is an antiretroviral medicine known as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs), it works by slows down the progress of HIV infection by reducing the amount of virus in your body. Darunavir does this by stopping the virus from replicating itself.Darunavir blocks the action of the Reverse Transcriptase enzyme which helps the virus replicate, this results in destroying the viral HIV chain.
