Atorvastatin / Aspirin

The combination of Atorvastatin and Aspirin is used in the treatment of prevention of stroke, heart attack and other heart related diseases. Atorvastatin blocks the enzyme which is responsible for cholesterol production therefore working to lower lipid levels. Aspirin is a NSAID which is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which works by preventing the platelets from sticking together therefore preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Atorvastatin and Aspirin help in reducing the bad cholesterol levels and increasing the good cholesterol levels.
