Gatifloxacin is also be used to treat certain STDs, sexually transmitted diseases such as uncomplicated gonorrhoea.Gatifloxacin kills bacteria by inhibiting the DNA replication. Gatifloxacin works against a wide variety of gram positive and gram negative organisms such as Streptococcus, Pyogenes, Stapylococcus, Aureus, E Coli, Proteus Mirabilis, and more.
