Anastrozole
Uses
Anatero is a hormone treatment used in the treatment of breast cancer.
How it Works
Anatero works by blocking or inhibiting the enzyme aromatase. Some breast cancers need the hormone oestrogen to grow. In women who have been through the menopause, the main source of oestrogen is through the change of sex hormones called androgens into oestrogen in the body. And the enzyme aromatase. is needed for this change to happen. when Anatero blocks the enzyme aromatase it reduces the amount of oestrogen in your body, which slows the growth of the cancer cells.
