Uses
Anticanol is used as an antiviral treatment for patients suffering from a chronic hepatitis B infection to stop the hepatitis B virus from multiplying / replicating.
How it Works
Anticanol is a nucleoside analog, Anticanol can inhibit the enzyme called viral DNA polymerase, it is able to prevent the spread and further spreading of the virus, this then helps to reduce the amount of virus present in the body which leads to lesser damage to the liver
Common Side effects
Patients who take Anticanol may suffer from such side effects;
Diarrhea,
Dizziness,
Headaches,
Digestive discomfort,
Sleepy or fatigued feeling,
Nausea, possibly resulting in vomiting
