Bezafibrate is used in the treatment of increased triglycerides levels in blood and increased cholesterol levels in blood.
How it Works
Bezafibrate is known as a fibrate and it's function is to lower lipid, fat levels in the blood. Bezafibrate works by reducing the levels of certain types of fats in the blood, such as triglycerides and cholesterol.Bezafibrate works by blocking the action of a the enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase which the body needs to make fat.
