Uses
Bracanat is used in the treatment of ovarian cancer that has returned after treatment using platinum chemotherapy.
How it Works
Bracanat is a potent oral poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor. PARP is a protein that helps cells repair themselves. By inhibiting the action of PARP cancer cells are unable to repair themselves.

Expert advice
It is advisable to contact your doctor and go to the emergency room immediately if you experience a fever of 38 degrees or more with chills, if you have an allergic reaction such as swelling, itching or hives and if you are experiencing troubles breathing and having uncontrollable cough.

It is advisable to inform your doctor of any other medications or prescription medications you are taking before starting Bracanat treatment. You are also advised against taking any kind of vaccination or immunization while on Bracanat treatment.
