Medroxyprogesterone
Uses
Deviry is used in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis and amenorrhea. Deviry is also used as a contraceptive or for heavy, painful, irregular or missed periods.
How it Works
Deviry is a progestogen, which is a female hormone. It works as a contraceptive by preventing the ovaries from releasing eggs. Deviry also thickens the cervical mucus and changes the uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to enter or survive in the uterus.
