Estriol Topical is used for the treatment of dryness in the vagina.
How it Works
Estriol topical is known as an estrogen. Estriol topical works by maintaining the estrogen levels in the body in menopausal women. Estriol Topical also reduces the vaginal wall from becoming thin and dry thereby reducing the associated symptoms.

Estriol is used for post menopausal osteoporosis and hormone replacement therapy (hrt).
How it Works
Female hoermone levels can fall after hysterectomy, or during menopause. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) using Estriol replaces these hormones. This helps to relieve some of the problems associated with the menopause, such as hot flushes, night sweats and vaginal dryness. Estriol can also protect against 'thinning' of the bones or osteoporosis.In the case of womb removal then it is likely that you only need to take oestrogen HRT therapy.
