Febuxostat (Sava) is used in the treatment of gout.
How it Works
Febuxostat (Sava) reduces the production of uric acid in your body, uric acid accumulation can cause gout. Febuxostat (Sava) blocks the enzyme xanthine oxidase involved in the synthesis of uric acid which then lowers the blood uric acid levels.
