Precaution

Since it is not clear whether clobetasol topical is excreted into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby, it is not recommended for use in such cases. Do not apply this medicine on a child without a doctor's guidance. Children are more susceptible to absorb high level of a topical steroid through the skin. Steroid absorption in children may obstruct their growth with long-term use. Missed Dose of Temovate

If you are taking Generic Temovate Clobetasol tablet, then and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. But, if it is almost time for your next dose, instead skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Even if you are using cream or gel, don’t take more than 50 grams or more than 50 mL of the lotion in 1 week. Also don’t use it for longer than 2 weeks in a row unless directed by your doctor. Overdose

Topically applied Temovate cream and ointment can be absorbed in sufficient amounts to produce systemic effects.

Contraindications
