Glipizide is used in the treatment and to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus
How it Works
Glytopworks by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas. Insulin helps to control the levels of Glucose (Sugar) in your blood. Insufficient or inaffective insulin causes type 2 diabetes. Glytopworks when diet and exercise alone fail to control abnormally high levels of blood sugar.Glipizide is only effective when used to treat type-2 diabetes (non-insulin-dependent)
