Saquinavir
Uses
Maximune is used for the treatment of HIV infections.
How it Works
Maximune is an antiretroviral medicine known as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs), Maximune works by slowing down the progress of HIV infection by reducing the amount of virus in the body. Maximune does this by stopping the virus from replicating itself. Maximune blocks the action of the Reverse Transcriptase enzyme which helps the virus replicate, this results in destroying the viral HIV chain.
