Megon is a chemical similar to the female hormone progesterone. Megon helps to treat loss of appetite and weight loss in people with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or also known as AIDS. Megon is also used in hormone replacement therapy. Megon works to start menstruation by replacing the natural progesterone that some women are missing.
