Meropenem is used in the treatment of serious bacterial infections and the symptoms it can cause.
How it Works
Meropenem prevents the synthesis of a substance in the bacterial cell wall called peptidoglycan, which provides the cell wall with the strength required for survival of bacteria in human body thus killing the cell.

Sulbactam is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
How it Works
Sulbactam works by blocking the action of the enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate the antibiotics. Thus this allows the antibiotics taken to do their job and kill the bacteria thus stopping the infection
