Niraparib
Uses
Niranib is an anti-cancer targeted therapy medication used for chemotherapy. Niranib is used for the treatment of ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer.
How it Works
Niranib works as targeted therapy where it is highly selective for PARP1 and PARP2 which work to detect DNA damage and promote repair. Niranib inhibits the activity of PARP1 and PARP2 which results in cancerous cell death.

Nausea
Decreased platelet count
Fatigue (including weakness)
Headache
Decreased appetite
Nasopharyngitis
Anemia (low red blood cell count)

Important Precautions
Before starting on Niranib it is advisable to inform your doctor regarding any other medications you may be taking. It is advisable to not take any vaccinations when on Niranib.
