Nugliptin is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus which is also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes (NIDDM)
How it Works
Nugliptin works in treatment of diabetes by increasing the amount of insulin produced by the body. Insulin helps control the level of sugar in the blood. Nugliptin also reduces the amount of glucagon being produced by the pancreas, Glucagon causes your liver to produce more sugar, thus by reducing the amount of glucagon in the body by using Nugliptin, this also helps to reduce the levels of sugar in the blood directly. Nugliptin is used together with a good diet and also exercise.

Hypoglycaemia (Low blood sugar level),
