Amikacin is used in the treatment of serious bacterial infections and tuberculosis (TB).
How it Works
Amikacin is known as an antibiotic. Amikacin kills bacteria by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, these proteins are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus this then kills the bacterial cells and stops the infection from spreading.

Uses
Cefepime is used for Bacterial infections, such as Urinary tract infections, Skin and soft tissue infections. Cefepime is also used for the treatment of Intra-abdominal infections, Pneumonia and Febrile neutropenia

Cefepime is known as an antibiotic. Cefepime works by killing bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival in the human body. Thus this stops the bacterial infection from spreading.
