Rivofone is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis b virus (hbv) infection and hiv infections.
How it Works
Rivofone is an antiretroviral medicine known as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). Rivofone slows the progress of HIV infection, but it is not a cure. Rivofone is used with other medicines in a combination therapy. Rivofone works by by stopping the virus HIV from copying (replicating) itself. Rivofone works by stopping the hepatitis B virus from multiplying further, this reduces the amount of the virus in your body.
