Tenohep is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis b virus (hbv) infection and hiv infections.
How it Works
Tenohep is an antiretroviral medicine known as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). Tenohep slows the progress of HIV infection, but it is not a cure. Tenohep is used with other medicines in a combination therapy. Tenohep works by by stopping the virus HIV from copying (replicating) itself. Tenohep works by stopping the hepatitis B virus from multiplying further, this reduces the amount of the virus in your body.
