How it Works
Silymarin comes from the extract of the seeds from a plant called milk thistle (silybum marianum). Silymarin has hepatoprotective benefits which guard the cells in the liver from being exposed to toxins. Silymarin is made up of polyphenols and flavonolignans which are known to have antioxidant properties, that have various positive benefits on the immune system and the treatment of inflammation and infection in the liver.

How it Works
Ursodeoxycholic acid is a bile acid, bile acid is a substance naturally produced by the body that is stored in the gallbladder. Ursodeoxycholic acid works by decreasing the production of cholesterol and by dissolving the cholesterol in bile so that it cannot form stones.
