Zofer Injection is known as a 5-HT3 blocker.Zofer Injection works by inhibiting the actions of serotonin in the body, serotonin is responsible for triggering vomiting and nausea. Zofer Injection is usually prescribed for use in patients undergoing cancer treatment such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy, to prevent vomiting. Zofer Injection is also used to prevent post surgery vomiting.
