How it Works
Glyceryl Trinitrate (Nitroglycerin) is known as a nitrate. Glyceryl Trinitrate (Nitroglycerin) works by relaxing and widening blood vessels. When the heart needs more oxygen than it can get, chest pains start occuring. Glyceryl Trinitrate (Nitroglycerin) works by relaxing blood vessels, which then allows blood to flow more easily.
