Ethinyl Estradiol is used for contraception, it is also used in the treatment of post menopausal osteoporosis, prostate cancer, hormone replacement therapy (hrt) and failure of ovarian development.
How it Works
Ethinyl estradiol is known as an estrogen. Ethinyl Estradiol is a synthetic form of the naturally occurring hormone in the body and it helps in development and maintenance of menstrual cycle. In post-menopausal women, Ethinyl Estradiol works by reducing the post-menopausal symptoms and risk of weakening bones and bone fracture.

Uses
Dienogest is used as an oral contraceptives to prevent pregnancy by preventing ovulation and to treat heavy menstrual bleeding which is not caused by any disease of the uterus in women who wish to use oral contraception.
How it Works
Dienogest works by causing changes in the cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus thus preventing pregnancy.
