Cefalexin is used in the treatment of bacterial infections, including upper respiratory infections, ear infections, skin infections, and urinary tract infections.
How it Works
Cefalexin is an antibiotic. Cefalexin kills the bacteria by attacking the cell wall, it works by preventing the synthesis of peptidoglycan in the cell wall. By destroying the peptidoglycan it destroys the cell wall and kills the bacteria thus stopping the infection from spreading.
