Cyclosporine
Uses
Psorid is used during organ transplantation operations, bone marrow transplantation, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, nephrotic syndrome, uveitis and atopic dermatitis.
How it Works
Psorid works by lowering the body's immune system. Immune system helps the body fight infections. The immune system can also fight or "reject" a transplanted organ such as a liver or kidney during organ transplantation operations., the reason being the immune system treats the new organ as an invader. therefore Psorid is used to prevent organ rejection after a kidney, heart, or liver transplant by reducing the immune system's response. Psorid is also used to treat severe psoriasis or severe rheumatoid arthritis.
