Sitagliptin
Uses
Sitazit is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus which is also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes (NIDDM).
How it Works
Sitazit is known as a dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitor. Sitazit operates by reducing the amount of glucagon and increases the amount of insulin produced by the pancreas to coltrol the blood sugar levels in the body.
