Tavin is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis b virus (hbv) infection and hiv infections.
How it Works
Tavin is an antiretroviral medicine known as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). Tavin slows the progress of HIV infection, but it is not a cure. Tavin is used with other medicines in a combination therapy. Tavin works by by stopping the virus HIV from copying (replicating) itself. Tavin works by stopping the hepatitis B virus from multiplying further, this reduces the amount of the virus in your body.
