Estradiol is used for hormone replacement therapy (hrt), it is also used in the treatment of vasomotor menopausal symptoms,vulval and vaginal atrophy, post menopausal osteoporosis and used as a contraception.
How it Works
Estradiol is known as a form of estrogen, which is a female sex hormone produced by the Estradiol It acts by replacing the natural hormone in the body when the natural hormone is deficient.

Drospirenone
Uses
Drospirenone is used to help regulate ovulation and menstruation. Drospirenone is also used for a premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD; severe depression, irritability and tension just before menstruation), moderate acne, and to prevent osteoporosis in post-menopausal women.
How it Works
Drospirenone is known as a progestin or a female hormone. Drospirenone works to prevent pregnancy by preventing the release of an egg from the ovary or preventing fertilization of the egg by sperm (male reproductive cells). Drospirenone also may work by changing the lining of the uterus (womb) to prevent the development of a pregnancy. Drospirenone and estradiol is a combination medicine is also used to treat symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, and vaginal dryness, burning, and irritation.
