Uses
Bendix-IV is an anti-parasitic medication that is used in the treatment of certain parasitic roundworm infections, heartworm disease, and hookworm infections. Bendix-IV treats parasitic infections of the skin, eyes, and intestinal tract.
How it Works
Bendix-IV works by paralyzing and killing the parasites in the beginning stages of its growth before it gets to mature. Bendix-IV works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of the parasitic worms thus leading to their paralysis and death. Bendix-IV is used as a long-term treatment to prevent infection and also eliminate any current infections. Bendix-IV can also be effective for preventing intestinal infections caused by hookworms or roundworms
