How it Works
Formoterol is known as a long-acting bronchodilator. Formoterol relaxes muscles, it also widens dilates the airways to improve breathing. Formoterol works by opening up the air passages in the lungs so that air can flow into the lungs more freely. This helps to ease symptoms such as coughing, wheezing and feeling breathless.

Tiotropium is known as an antimuscarinic bronchodilator. Tiotropium works by decreasing the activity of acetylcholine on the lung. Tiotropium works by opening up the air passages in lungs so that air can flow into the lungs more freely and easily.
