Sucralfate is used in the treatment of duodenal ulcer, intestinal ulcers and stomach ulcers.
How it Works
Sucralfate works by forming a protective coating over the ulcer. This then creates a physical barrier that protects the ulcer or raw surface from the effects of gastric acid or any other injury, allowing it to heal.
