Greneric Lasix is known as a diuretic. Greneric Lasix works in the kidneys and removes excess water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Greneric Lasix works by inhibiting the absorption of sodium and chloride in the proximal and distal tubules and in the loop of Henle.
