Uses
Neostigmine is used in the treatment for myasthenia gravis, post-operative urinary retention, paralytic ileus, and reversal of effect of skeletal muscle relaxant after surgery.
How it Works
Neostigmine works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers in the brain which then allows free transmission of signals across the nerves and muscles.
