Mysoline is known as an anti-epileptic drug, primidone is also called an anticonvulsant. Mysoline works by controlling the abnormal electrical activity in the brain that occurs during a seizure.Mysoline controls seizures caused by epilepsy by increasing the action of GABA(gamma-aminobutyric acid), is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. GABA chemical messenger suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
