Revas is used in the treatment of hypertension, heart failure, heart attack and diabetic kidney disease.
How it Works
Revas is known as an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Revas works by inhibiting ACE which means it blocks or inhibits a chemical called angiotensin-converting enzyme, which in turn blocks the production of angiotensin II which is the main reason of constricting of the blood vessels, which tends to raise blood pressure.
Common Side effects
Patients who take Revas may suffer from such side effects;
Fatigue,
Orthostatic hypotension,
Renal impairment,
Vertigo,
Dizziness,
Increased potassium level in blood,
Weakness,
Anemia
