Sirolimus
Uses
SiroBoon is given together with cyclosporine and a steroid medicine which works to prevent the body from rejecting a transplanted kidney.
How it Works
SiroBoon suppresses and lowers the body's immune system which helps the body fight infections. The immune system can also fight or reject a transplanted organ such as a liver or kidney. This is because the immune system treats the new organ as an invader. Thus SiroBoon works to prevent the body from rejecting the transplanted organ.
