Metformin helps in allowing the body to make full use of the reduced amount of Insulin that occurs in type 2 diabetes patients. Insulin occurs naturally in the body's pancreas which helps to control the level of glucose(Sugars) in your blood, insufficient or inaffective insulin results in the condition called diabetes mellitus. Metformin helps in treatment of the type 2 diabetes.

Uses
Empagliflozin is used to treat Type-2 diabetes mellitus in adults.
How it Works
Empagliflozin is a sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, and it works by increasing the amount of insulin produced by the pancreas which then reduces the level of sugar in the blood. Empagliflozin also works by decreasing the amount of sugar the body absorbs and increasing the amount of sugar that leaves the body in the urine.Empagliflozin increases the loss of sugar through the kidneys
