Triamterene is a potassium-sparing diuretic which helps the body to prevent from absorbing too much salt and keeps the potassium levels from getting too low.Triamterene also works to lower the swelling by removing the levels of excess water and electrolytes in the body.

How it Works
Furosemide is known as a diuretic. Furosemide works in the kidneys and removes excess water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Furosemide works by inhibiting the absorption of sodium and chloride in the proximal and distal tubules and in the loop of Henle.
