Vermizole is an anti-parasitic medication that is used in the treatment of certain parasitic roundworm infections, heartworm disease, and hookworm infections. Vermizole treats parasitic infections of the skin, eyes, and intestinal tract.
How it Works
Vermizole works by paralyzing and killing the parasites in the beginning stages of its growth before it gets to mature. Vermizole works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of the parasitic worms thus leading to their paralysis and death. Vermizole is used as a long-term treatment to prevent infection and also eliminate any current infections. Vermizole can also be effective for preventing intestinal infections caused by hookworms or roundworms
