Hydrochlorothiazide is used in the treatment of high blood pressure or hypertension, congestive heart failure,fluid retention (edema), cirrhosis of the liver, corticosteroid and estrogen therapy, and kidney disorders.

Quinapril
Uses
Quinapril is used in the treatment of hypertension, heart failure, heart attack and diabetic kidney disease.
How it Works
Quinapril is known as an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, or ACE inhibitor. ACE inhibitors like quinapril prevents the body from creating a hormone known as angiotensin II. This works by blocking or inhibiting a chemical called angiotensin-converting enzyme. which widens the blood vessels and helps to reduce the amount of water put back into the blood by the kidneys.These actions then help to decrease blood pressure in people who have blood pressure which is higher than normal.
