Introduction
Candid-B Cream is often used in the treatment of fungal skin infections. It can only help heal a limited infected area. It is not very effective in the treatment of widespread fungal infection on the body. The medication can help treat certain fungal skin infections such as ringworm, jock itch, and athlete's foot. Redness, swelling, and itching related to an infection can also be controlled by using this medication.
Use
This medication is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm at the groin area or other parts of the body, vaginal yeast infection, or jock itch. It is only effective for the treatment of fungal infections and it will not have any effect on conditions that are caused by a bacterial infection. It is for external use only.
Dosage and administration
This medication is prescribed for external use only. Wash your hands properly before applying the cream. Clean the affected area thoroughly as well. Take a sufficient quantity of the cream and apply it on the affected area. Rub the cream gently on the affected area until it is evenly distributed on the skin. It is usually recommended by physicians to use it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream. Do not bandage the affected area. You can just cover it with a thin cotton gauze to avoid contact with clothing. It is advisable not to miss any scheduled application as timely applications can help reduce the infection effectively.
