Uses
Mesolit Injection is used to prevent ifosfamide-induced hemorrhagic cystitis which is also known as bleeding in the bladder caused by chemotherapy. However Mesolit Injection does not prevent other side effects caused by ifosfamide. Mesolit Injection is also used for the treatment of Urothelial toxicity prophylaxis and Cystic fibrosis
How it Works
Mesolit Injection works by reducing the risk of inflammation and bleeding in the bladder, for patients undergoing chemotherapy under ifosfamide. Mesolit Injection does this by Inactivating toxins produced by the drugs during chemotherapy.
