Uses
Rosumac is used in the treatment of increased triglycerides levels in blood and increased cholesterol levels in blood.
How it Works
Rosumac is known as a statin or HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. Rosumac regulates the amount of cholesterol and other lipids made by the body. Rosumac works by blocking the action of a the enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase which the body needs to make cholesterol. This lowers the level of cholesterol and directly lowers the risk of heart and blood vessel disease.

Patients who take Rosumac may suffer from such side effects;
Musculoskeletal pain,
Dyspepsia,
Nasopharyngitis,
Increased liver enzymes,
Increased creatine phosphokinase (CPK) level in blood,
Diarrhoea,
Flatulence,
Constipation,
Allergic reaction,
Headache,
Nausea,
Joint swelling,
Increased glucose level in blood
