Uses
Uromitexan Injection is used to prevent ifosfamide-induced hemorrhagic cystitis which is also known as bleeding in the bladder caused by chemotherapy. However Uromitexan Injection does not prevent other side effects caused by ifosfamide. Uromitexan Injection is also used for the treatment of Urothelial toxicity prophylaxis and Cystic fibrosis
How it Works
Uromitexan Injection works by reducing the risk of inflammation and bleeding in the bladder, for patients undergoing chemotherapy under ifosfamide. Uromitexan Injection does this by Inactivating toxins produced by the drugs during chemotherapy.
